After nearly 3 years as a senior architect, Andy Benson has been promoted to Principal at Studio Southwest Architects. His contributions to the design of K-12 education facilities are widely recognized, illustrating his dedication to the success of New Mexico’s school districts. Andy is a registered LEED professional and finds ways to contribute to the conversation of sustainability in his work and life. As an eco-conscious architect, he has presented lectures on the topic of sustainability and energy conscious design for the AIA+2030 Challenge and served on the board of the USGBC. Andy’s architectural prowess and knowledge of the local industry make him a valuable asset to the senior management at Studio Southwest Architects.
