Richard Braun, received a master of architecture degree from the University of New Mexico in 1978, and a business degree from the University of Miami. He joined Studio SW in 1994 and is the past president.

While his primary focus is on the design of education projects, his experience includes laboratory, medical, government, commercial, renovation, and cultural projects as well.
Rich has been involved with the American Institute of Architects (AIA), National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, the AIA Albuquerque Fundraising Committee and the AIA Albuquerque Urban Design Committee.
